As a small independent brand, we try our best to be mindful of our carbon footprint and minimize the negative impact that textiles have to our planet. As we navigate this journey of sustainability, we are continuously educating ourselves in additional ways to produce a more responsibly made product. We believe it is our social responsibility to make the best choices for our business, customers and our planet. Each piece is carefully considered; from fit to performance, cut in timeless color ways and produced with the previous collection in mind. A less is more approach, ensuring better buying choices that build a conscious swimwear wardrobe.

Each STL swim piece is consciously designed in-house and sampled at our local family-owned facility, who also manufacture all our swimwear by hand.
In our efforts to slow down the fast-fashion movement, our swimwear is manufactured in small batches and may be available for a "pre-order" before they are in-stock. This allows us to produce the pieces that are in demand and eliminate any over production and excess waste.
We are proud to have aligned ourselves with our local artisans, such as our pattern makers, graders and packaging and printing suppliers that share our brands passion and pursuit for quality, sustainability and ethical work environments.
