our conscious approach
As a small independant brand, we try our best to be mindful of our carbon footprint and minimize the negative impact that textiles have to our planet. As we navigate this journey of sustainability, we are continuously educating ourselves in additional ways to produce a more responsibly made product. We believe it is our social responsibility to make the best choices for our business, customers and our planet.
our design philosophy
Our ethos is to create a simple and sustainable collection of swim pieces that are timeless in design, responsibly made and desired for many seasons. Each piece is carefully considered; from fit to performance, cut in timeless color ways and produced with the previous collection in mind. A less is more approach, ensuring better buying choices that build a conscious swimwear wardrobe.
Our swimwear is hand made in New York by a small family-owned and operated facility with over 15 years of experience in the swimwear industry. We are proud to have aligned ourselves with local artisans that share our brands passion and pursuit for quality, sustainability and ethical work environments.
Manufacturing in NY supports our local community and allows us be hands-on throughtout the entire process. Scraps and excess fabric waste from our production are either stored for future reference or repurposed into hair ties to accessorize our collections.
Our swimwear is made using ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon derived from pre and post consumer waste found in our oceans and landfills.
Our hardware is made in France of the highest quality materials that are heat resistant, salt & chlorine resistant, won't tarnish over time and in line with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
Our packaging is eco-friendly and made from 100% certified recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials. From our wet bags to our tissue paper, stickers, hangtags, kraft mailers and our 100% compostable hygiene liners.

CLEANING THE SEAS
Our core mission as a brand is to produce a sustainable and responsibly-made product and align ourselves with organizations who share the same values as we do. Healthy Seas mission resonated with us and partnering with them was a natural step in doing our part to give back.
Healthy Seas was founded in 2013 to tackle the ghost fishing phenomenon that is responsible for the needless death of marine animals. Together through cleanups with volunteer divers and working with stakeholders of the fishing sector toward marine litter prevention, Healthy Seas is able to collect waste and ensure they become a valuable resource.
Their approach contributes toward a solution to ocean pollution, now and for the future.
